Received an email this morning from screwfix. 10way fully populated BG board for £35 including vat today only.

there is a RED is bit on the Main page. just click on that..
Isnt a shock all these Consumer Units going cheap now, quick Ditch before the new year, that leaving it till XMas day

Yeah it's for everyone but just noticed it's not a dual RCD board.....not such a deal :nonod: BG 10-Way Fully Insulated Main Switch Consumer Unit | Domestic Consumer Units | NoLinkingToThis

main switch, two RCBO's, 1x RCD, 8x MCB's.

Don't have a problem with plastic boards (though I'd prefer a nice safe wooden backed board), but it is BG which puts it just above MK.

Are MK that bad now? they used to be one of the better ones.
I ask because one of my local wholesalers are selling 10 way populated MK amd 3 boards at £67 plus vat and I have a cu change this week with the existing main switch on the left the same as these boards.
I thought I'd take a look.

Very flimsy and the MCBs often fail.
