I will start off explaining the scenario. Three storey house. One doorbell sounder on ground floor with transformer. It's for my friends Mum who's quite deaf, she can't hear the doorbell in the living room on the first floor, she wants another sounder in the living room. I bought another doorbell with the same terminals OF, 1,2 3. Question is this possible? would the transformer be enough to run both or maybe one sounder should be run on batteries (which doesn't sound right).

i am sure the transformer load would take another "chime/dingdong" added
if they want you can always go for the wireless type with flashing light and sounder (battery life sucks though)

Thank you for the reply, Using a wireless doorbell for the living room was my first suggestion. But they were concerned there would be two bell pushes and it would look like flats. The LV wires go to T1 and T3, the bell push wires go to OF and T1. On the second chime what Terminals would the wires terminate.?
