Evening all, 1st fixing a job at the moment and the client is having 6x LED Aurrora sola IP65 down lights installed in the soffit at the front of the house, the road is less than 3m from the front door and soffit obviously, they want them to be triggered by a sensor, so i suggested fitting a danlers occupancy sensor suitable for outside use (they do one I have checked) in the soffit, going to fit a 2way and off switch for a override facility, but question is, i can not find for the life of me any sensor either wall mounted or flush that has an adjustable distance setting, as the house is so close to the main road, its a main bus route swell, those lights are going to be on and off like a disco which they don't want, anyone got any ideas? cheers chaps, Darren

Nearly sure aurora do an outdoor adjustable range PIR that comes complete with "blinkers"

cheers chaps, some sensible ideas there, i did think of the idea about having the PIR facing backwards but its where i can fix it, its all open plan, i did think of key fob remotes and put a remote receiver in the soffit, and then a retractive switch or timed switch for when they leave through the front door, cheers sintra, will get onto the wholesalers tomorrow morning, when i spoke to danlers they said to use nail varnish for the masking tape idea, jesus christ us sparkys have to carry nail varnish in our tool kit now ey! haha wont be doing that!
