Was sub contracted in by a plumber to replace an electric shower. Old shower was going hot and cold intermittently. Plumber assumed the shower was knackered and told me to replace it like for like. No cable installation just a straight swop. Also as soon as shower was turned on lights in the flat were dimming slightly (volt drop?). I have not been able to rectify the dimming but I am presuming there is a loose connection somewhere?
Anyhow, brand new shower now has the exact same problem hot and cold intermittently. I'm totally lost to why this is happening. Plumber assures me that the water pressure is fine. However cold feed loops up and back down on itself then connects into the shower. But plumber isn't having it though. The fact that the same thing is happening on a brand new shower as on previous shower leads me to believe there is a problem elsewhere?
any ideas?
