Any suggestions, all cables are fine, was moved from a single pole rcbo to a double pole yesterday and I think appears to be something to do with the generation meter as this is the only issue in between. Does the system have to be on a single pole rcbo?

It shouldn't matter, the RCBOs tripping/sensing parts should be exactly the same inside both types. Does it stay in without the meter connected?

hi rolyberkin

does the system require an RCD in the first place some systems require a special rcd I think A type if I remember correctly. use manufacturers guide from the inverter or inverters depending on set up.

Took the rcbo out this morning and found that it wouldn't even reset out of the consumer unit, just a complete internal mechanical failure!? Schoolboy error on my part in that I didn't just check the rcbo first! Ordered a new one and it is all now up and running on a spare.
