Hello all,

I've been searching searching the net for a stair light kit that is controlled via motion sensor, one at the bottom and one at the top to trigger the lights depending on whether your going up or down the stairs.

Has anyone installed any kits that they can recommend as they seem very few and far between.

Or perhaps I was thinking about making my own kit, with some flush mount LED's installed into the wall above the stair stringer but am unsure about wiring them up to 2 motion detectors...? and a timer?

Just looking for thoughts and ideas really on what other have done before.

Why would you need it all in a "kit"? Surely you'd just pick your lights, pick your switches and select your cabling according to the individual needs of the building, just the same as with lighting anywhere else?

Leesparkykent, thanks for that mate.

Adam W, was more asking for product recommendations as I haven't seen many discrete sensors, albeit finding loads of LED's.

Simlec, thanks mate for the link, Ill check that out in detail later today but that looks perfect indeed, I haven't heard of that company before.

As always appreciate the help fellas.

Dan
