Hi
I read somewhere that i could clean my amplifier inside with this product, i promptly bought some and sprayed it all inside, switches, pcb etc. I am now worried that i may have overdone it and do not want to power up incase something untoward occurs. Could someone please advise me on this. The product used is servisol super 10 switch cleaning lube.

Thanks
pz

"Switch and contact cleaning lubricant. Quickly removes tarnish and other deposits. Residual lubrication film protects contact surfaces. Prevents arcing between dry contacts. Safe to use on plastics, rubber and other delicate materials."

It says prevents arcing in-between contacts so it should have a very low mineral count, should be ok but I would contact the manufacture and take their advice first before energising your amp.

Real men don't use lube. Love it, PMSL :)

Usually with this stuf, the only time when it could be problematic, is when it's only just been applied.
The gases used in the aerosol can be inflamable.
If you're that worried, get some electrical contact cleaner and use it to clean of the stuff you've applied....

Clean it off as Spin says. It’s like a dust magnet. Be careful what solvent you use some can have dire effects on plastics.
Why did you use the cleaner and lubricant in the first place? If it gets in to the control pots it can cause havoc. I know it’s too late now but I give my amps, etc a quick blast of compressed air to clean them out.
