Dear sir,
The powerfactor has come down to 0.13,when one 4000kva transformer is in idel load,Then the 4000kva transformer was isolated from the 11kv supply, To raise the powerfactor i change over a2000kva transformer and loaded a Load of 630 kw of induction motors, the capacitorbank charged about 575kvar to raise the powerfactor to 0.95,By practically it took 27 hours. But how to calculate the time taken to reach the required p.f in theorytically.any one please explain me.
With best regards,
