Just wondering if anyone has heard of total trade services?

anyone worked for them or with them?

good or bad experience?

cheers

Does anyone know of Total Trade services What they pay etc etc ?

I am sure someone on here has some sort of experience with them.

On the plumbing side my mate reckons you work like a dog for not much.

However being a cut above plumbers we should get a better deal ?

They pay about 650 a week employee. Its price work not the best pay but the plumbers have a harder job than us there

I take it you have signed up Liam do they pay travel ? and do you get more if you use your own van

? and does the price include the wage for the second man.

Im sub contracting. Employee is 58 a combi and 73 for a y plan. Travel is paid around 15p a mile and you get around 90 a week to keep your van on the road. 2 men is for storage heaters and different pay. Doesnt work out that good on heaters. On your own wiring boilers.

@liam b are the spurs notifiable by them as new circuits or do you use a spur from a ring?are the approved contractors? it will be my name on the minor works cert thats all...

A jb or spur from a socket not notifiable. There approved with nic. If you put a new circuit in they notify it but ive never had to run a new circuit. When do you start with them?

Liam I take it by the topic heading you are in wales . If you have to go to Darlington that would

mean digs ,who will pay for that ?

If your looking for cheap accomidation in Darlington then there is a place called the 'The Arts Centre'.

Its basic but its okay.

If you go to Darlington you will meet some great people.

Regards.

Take some energy pills youll need them. Basic health and safety stuff.
Its scarey how many people there taking on when theyve only been given work till april. Theyll get more after but probly not as much as they have now. People will be laid off.

at the end of the day, its better than sitting at home doing housework, its been dead up here for ages. Wmployers seem to go for the younger faster ones instead of us more mature ones...pmsl
