Hey Shaun: Don't know how close they are to you, but there's a place in Bolton called RH Rewinds. Never used them myself but they seem pretty clued up & fully equipped to test / repair motors. Just had a look on their website & they say they prefer to repair motors, rather than replace them. May pay to give them a ring if they're close.

both dysons have gone where they belong, down to the tip. now got a henry and a kirby.If you want Dyson bits tel, use Manchester vacs. That's where i buy all mine, probably won't get motor brushes though. The motors are classed as throwaway, but Stu is cheap for them.
