Okay, so I've added a resources section which allows you to upload user manuals and that sort of stuff. I've created a category for the user manuals. What other categories do we need? What kind of things do you download and save or would be handy saving on the forum in a nice categorised area so you can find them easy in the future?

Also, while I have you, can you upload some manuals please? :)

I have a folder called resources on my PC. Things I keep in there are buildings regs approved documents, GS38, EAWR, IP ratings guides, ESCQR, best practice guides, etc. Things that are just useful for reference.
A place for things like that might be helpful, copyright permitting of course.

I think we'll just remove anything that gets reported etc I'm sure most will be fine with it.

So for a non-sparky like me. What are the categories in that lot?

And would you mind uploading some if I make those categories?

I would guess that maybe things like building regs, etc would be best linked to as they seem to update with such frequency that the resources section may easily be providing out of date information.

We can link-to the download if it's somewhere already online. Would be handy to have in a directory on the forum though perhaps and helps to increase content here.

Where would we link to for the various regs? I'll get @Louise on it.

Oh the pressure!!

Right, I gonna make a formal complant. There's now far too many different categories to keep an eye on, and as I type there's some Russian minx just appeared on the right, and I've done nothing click wise, to request such content (bit of alright though). I'm off to get my fish & chips, and shut down before the Missus sees Александра in my inbox.

@Dan I changed the link use the new one in the post above
