Any suggestions for where I can purchase a 2-3kw system? in kit form, and what price I should be paying?

I already have 4 kw system fitted on my roof to utilise the feed in tarriff but they face SSW and I have enough space to fit approx 10 panels facing ESE. We use quite a lot of electricity and have quite a bit of sun in the morning and I would like to get the most of it.

Preferably, the inverter would be bluetooth, and SMA as this is what I have already and am very impressed with. I am open to suggestion for the panels and rail system, but they would be mounted on the side of a wall.

Any help/advice greatly appreciated :)

Hi,

What area of the country are you in?
Regarding the extra system you may need DNO (Network Operator) permission to put the extra system on.

1) You'll need DNO permission
2) You might as well use an MCS installer because they'll only charge you 5% VAT and you can claim the Feed in Tariff - 4-10kW is not much different from 4 kW these days.

Thanks guys :)

Like everyone today, I want everything for nothing, so I wanted to do it on a very small budget so I didn't want an MCS installer, purely on the cost.

I live in Lincolnshire. My supplier is Scottish power - how do I go about asking permission? Is it a simple phone call or an application?
