having spent 10 years of an early life repairing TVs with valves ( 8kV on exposed valve caps ), always wary of exposed terminals.
 
yeah, but americans can survive better. the heart stops due to the shock, but as it does not have to pump blood to a brain ( non-existant ), it can survive until the paramedics have seen your medical insurance policy.
