that method was favoured in the days of fuses where there's some space between the actual fuses. i prefer to make sure heavily loaded breakers are not adjacent to each other.

Typing up the EICR I did yesterday and the accompanying invoice and quote for remedials. Off to see a potential customer at 11am and then producing the quote for that. Pop to Asda to pick up some batteries so I can try out my latest purchases from the toolbox of @Pete999 :)

Oooh and unboxing my CK Dextro VDE Slim screwdrivers which arrived yesterday. Thank you very much @CK Tools . They look lurvely :D
not impressed with the slim screwdrivers from c.k.
Because there are so slim there only any good for light works I feel.
Feels like the ends will snap when tightening terminals and you can't get the grip/ torque.
I got them just to use for testing so there stored in my test bag.

i've got wiha slims. they are extremely robust. in 3 years i've onlybroke 1 tip and that was my own fault for trying to undo a pozi.2 with a 4mm flat.

got a couple of powerfix ones. saves damaging the wihas when a hammer is involved.
