It's not just the older generation that remember them :p

I still have two of those long thin drivers knocking around, one was modified for winding the ends of electromagnet coils into spring sections to provide flexibility when mounting the magnets in church organ wind chests.

Then again, the youngsters will no doubt see me as 'the older generation' :)

She would of been in bits, if I hadn't wiped up all the bird pooh off her cream carpets. Wished the starling had been feasting on red currents, beforehand.

anyway. back on topic. what am i doing today? same as the last 2 weeks with no work on. just sitting here waiting for the dementia to kick in. fending it off for now with some Blackthorn reserve cider and later Theakston's Old peculier.
