perfect for termimals in intruder alarms untill the started using these stupid +/- things.

That's the kiddy, that and a neon tester stuck in the pocket on me bib and brace overalls, hang on need to get a tissue, I'm filling up with nostalgia. Along with 10 Woodbines, and a copy of the 13th edition ob the Regs, happy days

It's not just the older generation that remember them

I still have two of those long thin drivers knocking around, one was modified for winding the ends of electromagnet coils into spring sections to provide flexibility when mounting the magnets in church organ wind chests.

Then again, the youngsters will no doubt see me as 'the older generation'
