Ok .... I've just had another dose of medication (true) and this thing has become clearer to me now.

What the op wants is a site where he can charge people money and "reading between the lines" he would find Slack Alice's site on the bottom corner of Pink Lane (In Geordieland) perfect for his needs. Her fee is £10 "for a short time".

She won't be needing it for a while since she got busted for soliciting .... again!

think biff will be miffed at this thread. how can he hope to trash a thread that started off as trash?

To the OP - you've probably gathered from the above answers that you've asked a somewhat naieve question (or it's w ind up). No, there isn't a website anywhere that will give an accepted scale of charges for work that you do for customers. As suggested above, you can charge whatever you like, as much as you can get away with. That said you have to be realistic - too much and you won't get customers, too little and you won't make a living. There is also an ethical dimension to this, as evidenced by TV programmes such as Rogue Trader, when pricing can go up to rip-off levels.

Some jobs will actually work out much more highly charged than others. For instance, it's perfectly acceptable to have a minimum callout charge, say £50. It may happen that you respond to a call, reset a trip switch, spend five minutes chatting about what might have caused it and be on your way. That would equate to £10 a minute, and who wouldn't like that pay rate! Another callout would mean you spending an hour for that same £50, and the rate then drops to less than £1 a minute.

So perhaps you need to rethink your business plan before going any further ...
