whats part M?,we are putting blue strips of plastic about 25mm wide either side of sockets on dado trunking and wheve been told it's part M whats this all about
yours benji

we've all heard of the dreaded approved document P (part p), well part M's just another approved document of the building regs; is to do with 'access and facilities for the disabled'.

dunno what the blue strips will be for tho, maybe to make the sockets more visible?

Aren't the blue strips just the dado lid with the blue plastic covering on???

no there 25.0mm wide and there fitted either side of the socket before the cover/lid is fitted ,something to do with visually impaired people
