Not crap but many years ago I worked with a team who converted two decommissioned Bofors guns two operate on gas with ignition by way of a crude spark plug affair for a film production.
 
once turned 3 horse cart wheels into lights, sbc brass lamp holders and bases, staples, small gold flex, and lots of time! they were suspended on ropes about 4meters up in a vaulted barn looked pretty good

We had a local pub up here with that had that kind of lighting , also another had shotguns , a blunderbuss and other firearms and poachers paraphernalia mounted on the beams .
You can see them getting away with that now.
