Default Protective devices

Hi,

I came across a problem were it was said that protection by MCB's appear in favour to HBC fuses according to the IEE Regulations.
I cannot find this information on the IEE Regulations.
May somebody knows where to find this information?.

i dont think the regulations are actively biased one way or the other ,each device has its pros and cons . use the the most appropriate for the installation
