Default 17th edition update exam

Word of warning guys

taught 7 guys today on 2382-20

mixture of old/young/very experienced/experienced, with some guys that i taught 16th to within the last year

2 out of the 7 failed (sorry - "were unsucssessful on this attempt")

these were two of the more experienced guys

they all generally found the exam a bit tougher than they were expecting

usual C&G trick of slightly rephrasing a question giving it a whole new meaning

get used to the book chaps!!!!! And look into some of the real 'obscure' stuff as well, dont just go for the obvious!!!!

Tony

Having taken a number of exams over the past few years have seen anumber of people fail because the last time they took an exam was over 5 years or more so did not know what to do or as now you take it on line may not have or ever used a PC.

Cheers Tony.
Got a call from local college today about the 2382-20 that was booked for 21st Feb, they have put the course back till March & it could possibly now be a 2 day course.

Slightly rephrasing the question.

Had some many divers fail various exams for the same reason.

Ho Tony - got mine sorted at long last. My college is running a 1 day course in June for all of us doing the 2330 and they will only charge us £20 for the exam fee. Bargain!

hi
spoke to the some course holders about their one day courses and they said one day is not enough quite a few people are failing. Most are thinking of changing to two days, but that means losing two days pay plus the price of the course. What do you do.

I'm going to stick at teaching it in one day

its really a case of getting your head in the regs

the 2382-20 is purely about the changes between 16th and 17th edition. I can teach that in one day. What i cant do is teach people how to pass exams!!!
