  • hi guys
i am going to quote for a complete rewire of a detached house. the current supply comes overhead via SWA from an adjoining building about 20' away which has the main incoming supply and fuse with PME. this building only a has light and a couple of sockets. is it okay to take this supply and use it for the house or does the house need its own supply as it really now only has the roof, 4 wallls and some floor joists so the whole job is virtually a new build. the adjoining building is owned by the same person and is unlikely to be sold off, however this is a possibility.
