a client needs a 32a single phase commando installed so they can charge the forklift via a 7.2kw charger.

There is currently a redundant ring circuit adjacent, tested ring continuity and a is ok on the 32a RCBO.

Apart from sounding a bit piky can anyone see anything unsafe with the temporary arrangement?

You will have a fully loaded circuit for the charger on its own and presumably long periods, the legs of this redundant ring, they may have difference in the shared load
Maybe split the ring at that point and check the difference in the resistance of each leg,see if its going to stress any one side,
then consider blanking off any other outlets

433.1.204 states accessories to BS1363 may be supplied through a Ring Final Circuit. A "commando" or "ceeform" IEC60309 socket is designed to BS4343, not BS1363 - therefore should be on a radial circuit.

That is Mable.
you remembered her name! That means a lot that does westie.
Has she settled in now.
No man. It's a long and very sad story, but I had to let her go to another owner, due to family pressures and my own impetuous actions when I got her as too-soon replacement for my previous dog. Shes doing just fine though, and probably forgot about me now. Thanks for asking anyway matey.
