Hi all,

As part of my job I am involved in Electrical estimating, I understand there are a few one day courses out there but I wondered if anybody knew of any courses that would lead to a qual ?

Thanks

Excuse my ignorance but electrical estimating of what?

I wanted to learn the different techniques in estimating and possibly gain a qualification.

As Electrical estimating is part of your job I would have words with some of the people who have been doing it. They will be able to give you different techniques that they have used in the past and how they panned out...
A lot less money than a course.... You could always send me said money you have just saved, for the info I have just given you....
Seeing that I like you I will knock 50% off....

1. Estimate the required tone for the job to take.

2. Estimate what materials are required and obtain quotation from suppliers.

3. Multiply hours or days by what you charge out an electrican for.

4. Add this to materials cost plus 10-20%.

5. Type up on fancy letterhead.

Nah sorry but this stinks
