Hi
I am hearing different things, some people have said no and some yes. Do rubber and foam fire stops through walls count as thermal insulation when cable sizing?

Thanks

Thanks for this. If these were to be treated as thermal insulation the cable would need to be substantially larger, so as they are to stop the spread of a fire they do not require to be treated as thermal insulation when sizing a cable?

Thanks

i would not think so, unless the cable is on it's limit, load wise.then the fire protection effect on thermal effects might be a consideration.

Thanks I am hearing different things. But the majority of people I have spoken to say that tubber and foam fire stops are NOT treated as thermal insulation when cable sizing

Thanks
