UK Coolbox not working from mains

Hi I have a 40L Halfords coolbox which works off 12v cigarette lighter, but won’t work of the 13amp plug. I have changed the plug fuse, but to no avail. Any ideas? Cheers Newbie

Auto electrics - Halfords not accepting blame for tyre pressure monitoring fault

Heads Up - Halfords.

Not sure if its been mentioned before but I got their Trade Discount Card as I am or was a spark, few £'s off on wiper blades etc etc.

Halfords cool box

Please be gentle, i'm new here. I have a halfords cool box which I run off my 12v power supply on my wagon. Problem is shut the door on the cable, cutting the plug off. I have a new plug (with 8 amp fuse), but am unsure which way round to connect the plug. Will it just blow the fuse if wrong...
