Post a sizable tree branch puncturing my flat roof and ceiling in what is a converted garage, I did still more damage in my efforts to repair the sheetrock. Yes, I’m the idiot who took a jigsaw to the ceiling and am now paying for it.
I’ve already used an in-line splice to repair two 12 awd...
Hi there,
We moved into a house with a fair few spotlights. They've been going out here and there but now got to a point where we do need to replace them - only to find that they're integrated and the product is discontinued.
We have Megaman TH0106d 70mA 4000k 8w.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice for the 2391-52 as I have it booked for next week? I've been going over past 2394/95 exam papers for the short answer questions, is there anything particularly I should be looking at?
Thanx

My electricity bills are 1.5-2.5k per month for a 5 bedroom house. My heating was running off ? electric so while this figure is extremely high it (kind of) made sense, as the house is large. I had an electrician calculate the space and electric consumption. As it was so high, I decided to go...

Hi,
I'm trying to set up a Hikvision video doorbell to trigger a honeywell digital chime. I ran into an intermittent issue, where the power kit was not functioning properly- it was not sending enough voltage to the doorbell, and too much to the digital chime, frying the transformer. I'm...
I wonder if any electricians can offer some advice? I feel that I may be getting taken for a ride. I rent out a 2 bedroom flat built in 2005 that has just needed an EICR. The letting agents have managed this for me and the report has come back as failed with a draft quote to pass the EICR that...

Just having new kicthen installed and noticed that they wired 2.5mm HR flex off the cooker switch. The 2.5mm HR flex feeds to a dual cooker outlet which will power a 16amp cooker and a 32amp induction hob. The cooker switch is 6mm cable with a 32amp breaker.
Is this okay?

Hi there :) the light switch for a ceiling light needs to be pushed quite hard in order for the light to turn on. What started happening first was that you would flick the switch (just normal force) and after a couple of seconds the light would turn on. Then it stopped turning on but I...
Hi all
Apologies if this has been discussed here before.
I am quite new to Treadmills, I have this treadmill for about 4-5 years and I had no idea that we need to lubricate the belt in order to keep it in good condition but in all fairness, the treadmill has hardly been used.
So I looked...
A quick connect on the bottom of my farm tractor was snagged by a limb and one side of the connectors wires were pulled free from the housing. The good side with the wires still connected has a black wire (hot?) and a white wire (neutral?) but the 2 wires that were pulled free from the other end...

Trying to wire a series of switches (2) 3 way and (1) 4 way to my kitchen light. I know it can be done because it was at one point. We had our kitchen re-modeled and I decided to replace the light and switches to match the back solace, however I didn’t take any pictures of the wiring before I...
