    Heat detector in kitchen notifiable?

    Someone I know requires a heat detector to be fitted in their kitchen because they are renting the house out. It would fit onto the lighting circuit. Is this notifiable? Also, emergency lighting, connected to the existing lighting circuit, is it notifiable? This would be in hallways etc.
