    SWA inner sheath unstrippable!

Bit of a rant - Had to gland off 7 x 25mm 4 core SWAs today - all of which required about 4m of the cores exposed. Turned out to be the worst stuff i've ever worked with - the white inner insulation would just not rip off - tried absolutely everything - in the end had to meticulously pick gently...

Indoor we have a junction box, out from the j-box comes a 3 core cable [hot, neutral, and ground] to feed a pendant light hanging from a chain 3' below. Hi all, Why is it that the earth conductor on twin and earth cable is not made with sheathing already on it ??
