Totally on the Ball Murdoch.You don't but so many EICR's get done with no reference to the regs and if you read the threads on here its descending into a complete farce.
A C1, C2 or C3 needs to be backed up with regs and details IMHO
Don’t think there’s any requirement for it but if I make any comments in the condition of existing installation then it’s always nice to back them up
