Discuss 18th Edition - Summary of Changes.... in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

Our company has pre ordered 1200 regs books and on site guides. Also, some of our lads have to sit a two day course! It’s mental.

Have I not told you about Certsure spending my money on some 18th Ed cinema film thing; don't think they are providing the popcorn?

If they do provide the popcorn could I exchange mine for pic’a’mix as it is on your ‘dime’ - thanks by the way!

Quick question don’t laugh if it’s stupid might still be drunk from last night it’s definitely possible
So Why would we be putting isolation or switching devices in any PEN conductors anyway? I thought there was already a reg to prohibit their use in an installation beyond the cutout so the only people using PEN conductors would be the DNOs who work to ESQCR regs and not bs7671? Or is it basically saying that further downstream ie the isolators and main switches shouldn’t switch the neutral in a TNCS because of the risk associated with the broken PEN?
