Hi All

I have recently completed my 2330 and my AM2 and I am wondering if i need to do the full 3 day 17th edition course or can I do a one day course or just the exam??
Any help or advice in this matter would be wonderful as cannot seem to get a straight answer from any training body. They all offer the 3 day course and I thnk they are trying to milk it.

Hi there i am in the same situation just completed my 2356 and level 3, i am going to complete my 17th doing a 10 week course because my company will pay for it. I have been in contact with a few training providers none of which really want to let you take the exam only, bit of a joke really i got a quote from one for £90 for just the exam rather expensive really but better than paying for a full course at £400 and more. I think it is worth doing alot of employers ask for it plus its another qualification in your favour which cant be a bad thing.

I think it depends on how recently you did the technical certificate - if you did your exams to the green book you should be able to just do the day update.

I completed mine 12 months ago and I found it better to crack on and get the 17th edition and 2391 whilst you are most clued up. Plenty of revision needed for the 2391 but once you have it it's a good achievement as the pass rate is so low, good luck!

Go for the 4 day 17th edition if you get a good lecturer you will learn alot.
