What do I need to change a 24Volt AC supply into 24 Volt DC Supply.

It is to power a small LED flashing light for an automatic gate the light wont work on the AC current is there an easy fix for this ? Thanks

Make sure you ask for a full wave bridge rectifier, its a much smoother peak to peak.
You can pick one up at laskys no problem.
If you have anything fussy with regards to its dc output then a polarised capacitor in parallel to the output side of the rectifier smoothes things up even further.
Hope this helps.:)

Wow, didn't know Laskys were still around!
