Discuss A good Try!! Good quality Gaffer tape hides a multitude of sins. in the DIY Electrical Advice area at ElectriciansForums.net

Come on people.... It's art...

FAIL.
Tape should have been white.

Was that a case of he took the old one down and there were too many wires?
If so, at least he didn't end up on here asking how to sort it out.

That's awful, those lamps are far too big for the shades.

Can't beleive no-ones noticed it's not orientated correctly.
The lamps should be pointing to the 4 corners of the room..

L shaped room ????????????

L shaped room has 6 corners. Ok, one of them is an external corner...

JH.... Is that what you were there to fix? Or were you there for another job and had to leave that like that? (with a note of non-conformity)?

Reminds me of another DIY adaptation...missus asks me if the new chandelier could be "fixed proper..."....looks sturdy, centred and plumb....then she says "no,it's up here..."
....and there,on the bedroom floor, poking above the carpet, are two bits of M6 threaded bar, with nuts and penny washers...:)
