Dear Everyone,

I received and invitation from Lou, to introduce myself, first and foremost
the only thing I know about electricity is I cannot see it. ( As kid I wish I had learnt that one quicker!).

I am focused and driven and its to that end I am making a post about an domestic electrical challenge I have.

Yours sincerely

I remember once when I was only knee-high to a grasshopper...
The fridge in the kitchen didn’t have a light in the socket, and as my age was still only in single digits at the time, I didn’t know what the gold coloured round things in the round black thing were.
It was only after I touched them that I realised what it was...

WHY do people take bulbs out without putting a new one in?
Also, now days electrical terminals are supposed to be touch proof and any enclosure with live terminals has to be accessible using either a special tool or key. how come the original Edison screw and bayonet connect lamp holders are still being manufactured and sold?

Probably because the ES lamps were made before that ruling came about.
