Hi, have a question you guys will know, just purchased two 9" LED spotlights for my Hilux 4x4, it has two large Ones already but the output was not good enough, can I simply cut the wiring as I remove them, and splice the LED into existing wiring, there already is a switch control fuses and loom for the old One, if I have to will buy a new loom and redo

ps, what is the best way for splicing,I like to solder and heat shrink then wrap with electrical tape?
