Firstly Hello my name is Shaun
I have joined the forum today to gain some information which will hopefully lead to me finally getting my qualifications that I didn't finish.
Here goes
I started out training as a domestic electrician around 1987 crawling around in lofts & rewiring houses the usuall etc, went to college and started my City & Guilds 2361, I passed the first year and so went on to my second year, I then only half completed the 2362. I passed the coursework assessment and first written exam but whilst doing all this I also started an electronics course which lead me down a path in IT & electronics and so I didn't get to finish my Electrical installation qualification but did gain a qualification in electronic servicing 2240 and several other IT Qualifications which was where I wanted to head back then!
My question now is where would I start in gaining my electrical installation qualification, can it be done? or would I have to start all over again?
Regards
Shaun

I also started in 1985 and didn't complete my installation exams, C&G advised me about 4 years ago they were so ancient I had to do the whole lot again, I have now completed a 2365 L2&L3, 2382, and 2391. Got to say it made me realise what I didn't know or had forgotten, I found it all a good refresher and not too taxing.
