Noob2013

Hi all,

Looking at fitting several Aico detectors with Radio Controlled bases.

Anyone know the best place to get them from as the bases are dam expensive?

Thanks

I'm waiting on a price for the bases but the smoke detectors are about £15 including vat and the heat is about £30. The

Saves so much time and hassle though

I think you just have to accept the price with these Noob. They are expensive because they are good quality, the after sales service is good and the technical advice line is good.

You will find some cheaper on e-bay if you are inclined to buy from there. For me e-bay is good for certain products but for something like this I would pay the extra and buy from a reputable company.

I fit a fair few of them as well, they are expensive, the bases seem to be about the same price from most places, but the heat and smokes you can find large differences in price!
