V New to this forum am I likely to get a job if I do these 2 courses I know it must be hard in the current climatea what are the chances of getting a job I live in Halstead North essex:
2393 Building Regs for Electrical Installation in Dwellings PART P
2382-10 - 17th Edition Course
I am still very very familliar with the terminology as I was an apprentice for a year and did the 1st year or so of C&G at a college in Harold Wood but got laid off and foolishly went in to the print.

depends on what job you are after, you may be given the job of labourer or maybe a mate.

I wouldn't mind being an electricians mate just to build back my confidence does anybody know of any in North Essex.

bit tough on the ground at moment but with a few quals and a bit of experience you have a good a chane as any - good luck

Mate

No dis-respect but anyone and everyone is passing or obtaining qualifications of that substance, but there's nothing stopping you picking up the yellow pages and phoning around all your local companies and explaining your situation and how you want to progress etc.

In a couple of years time there will be a Shortage of Skilled Electrician's, so now is a good time to make the effort imo.
