Amazon offering electrical Installation on selected products

Has anyone else noticed Amazon offering electrical installation on certain products.

£95 to install an in-line fan etc.

The only other differences there may be are:

• Are you logged in?
• Do you have a Prime account?

I've tried it on both Business account and personal account and it shows the installation option

I believe that Amazon maybe in the process of getting in on the handyman, plumber, electrician lark and like other agents of varying reputation it won't be long before they're calling around looking for tradesman to carry out work on their behalf.

No site survey, and a fixed price, so the installer gets, what? £65 at best

Agree, thats the sought of pricing these retailers give for connecting up a new luminaire for example. But it wouldn't include climbing into a loft space, fighting with the itchy stuff, moving the suitcases & Xmas decorations, and like my last one being attacked by a swarm of flies!
