Not sure mind, I once lined the bacon tray with tin foil and it combusted. Coincidentally, that was the same time the missus said I was never to touch the cooker again.

We do that. Saves on washing. It's never caught fire though.
Also have a smoke alarm just outside the kitchen door, that is fitted to a twist fixing, so that if it goes off while you are cooking you can take it off.

I'm only allowed to microwave bacon now. Actually tastes pretty good, and a lot less mess.

I do most of the cooking, so the missus wouldn't dare say I can't use the oven....

That sounds bizarre mate! So bizarre I am going to have to try it out!! I reckon around 60 seconds per rasher on full whack? :tounge_smile:

I used to microwave the bacon for about 30 seconds to get the water out , then fry it.
Tastes something like real bacon used to taste lol.
