Any suggestions for install

Hi all. I have been asked to quote on full install for barn conversion. Client wants cables
(t&e) fixed to expanded matal lath with cable clips so render can be applied over the top.
I have declined to do this as the metal lath is very sharp and could cut throgh the cables.
My question is what options can you suggest to protect the cables, but keeping the profile as slim as possible. The cables will also have to run behind or through oak timbers.

how about the oval plastic conduit, its fairly slim and could do the job.

Just depends how many turns and bends you got
