i dont know if this true or not but if you worked for them once they have a policy not to retake you on again?
is this for real? or just bull

i have previously worked with them through an agency over a year ago, the same job came up recently so i thought i would give the agency a call to get back on it but they came back with this crap

is this only for agency guys or also guys who have been on the books with baileys aswell?

Course not, if they had a good experience with subbie they would be more likely to have them back. How did you get on last time?

i did my job, no problems
my friend recently managed to get a job with them, same agency and enquired why i wasnt on the job as i had previously worked on the site, the agency guy said the same thing to him aswell?

i starting to think i've been blacklisted!!!

Have worked on overground with Baileys for many years, and would say you wouldn`t work for a more professional company. As a sub company, I found them very easy to deal with, and are setup to do the job. What happens down the line with the subbies on the track, is down to the sub contractor not Bailey`s direct.

They worked for me once, never again

An ex-girlfriends father was a manager there for over 30 years,he was also,as were many of his colleagues,a member of the Freemasons...

At the time, you could hold "Grand Master?" status for one year, and i was duly invited to the Christmas Dinner, where i would sit with his family on the Top table,as befitting a GM's potential son-in-law...

I boned-up on cutlery nomenclature,shaved,hired a tux...and had my obligatory skin-head hair cut...

I believe,to be shunned more emphatically, you would have to dress up as Mr.Saville whilst visibly showing signs of Ebola

......anyway,that's MY N G Bailey story...:icon12:

Done a few stints for them...even after the union got us agency lads chucked off my 1st job.....They were not consulted about the use of subbies apparently....50 sparks ready to walk..or we have to go. To be fair NG were great and gave us all 3 weeks money (By check in site hut) and the top guy on site was full of sorries ect.....AS said worked for them on a couple more sites after that. Not the worst mob...no by a long shot, Although I hear conditions are not as good these days. All very regimented and "know your place" type of company with a ton of "Who you know"...that is the part that is not my cup of tea.
