    I'm thinking of replacing the wired ones with Solar types. Will they run ok during winter?

    If you have wiring in place, why not fit wired lights ?

    I normally only talk about solar lights when running cables is impractical.

    I've fitted them before and they are gash. They work for a bit but rubbish in winter
