    Hi all,

Went to do Zs testing & my Megger 1721 showed err 23.
Voltage, Ohms & IR etc all work fine.
All worked last week - typical.

Just tried calling Megger tech support in Dover but it just rang, so Ive raised a warranty repair.

First thing I did was change batteries & leads & also reset back to factory settings. Firmware is 2.11

Bought it off ebay on the 6th Feb 2017 & registered it with Megger straight away.

Here's hoping they will repair it under warranty.

Just had a reply back from Megger saying that the code means internal component failure. MFT has 3 year warranty which is good.
    Anyone recommend an approved repair?
Also I'll get calibration done while its away.

    Thanks

Well my Meggers been repaired under warranty which is great & quickly too.
I did ask for it to be calibrated whilst it was there, accepting that I would get charged £69 +vat.

On Meggers paperwork that came back it says its been repaired, firmware upgraded & recalibrated. Unit has a service/calibrated sticker for 14/02/18

I don't seem to have an invoice for the calibration?
Am I lucky enough to get a free calibration due to the repair? here's hoping lol.

I would expect a calibration FOC with ant repair, especially under warranty.

After a repair the item will have to be calibrated, as this is warranty work I would expect it to be FOC.
