Hey guys, Got some night work....client cannot shut down during day hours.....Fault finding, small amount of installations.....

Could nt price job really as it is a bit of a can of worms senerio....Had PIR so faults and issues have been spotted so have a idea of whats going on as in circuits..

1.Lighting circuit being fed from a 32amp ring circuit with no apparent spur downrating or identifying...

2. No R1 another 32 ring....Got R2 and Rn but nothing on Line....could be a simple one might not...

also some new office light switching arrangements and extra sockets in surface conduit or trunking

Anyway to the point what sort of hourly rate is out there for night work? time half, double....??

interested to know what you guys go out at in this senerio.

thanks

if its stupid hours like 8 pm to 6 am id charge double if you think about it itl knacker you up you wont really want work on the day before as youl want some kip and the day after youl be to knackerd so youl be losing 2 days work

thats my view on it anyway

i doubt i would work past 2am......its at my pace...i would need go to work in day too soo.....
Can start at around the 5pm mark
