Hi Nicholas,

Try this website www.whatprice.co.uk/electrician/ It has prices from electricians and customers that have had various electrical work done. It also tells you what area they are in and what date the work was carried out. It covers most electrical services.
I generally charge about £25/30 per circuit for up to 8 circuits, extra circuits or ccu are extra. It would normally take me around 4/5 hours for a 3 bedroom semi, depending on the state of it.

Hope this helps.

Not sure what your back ground or competence is, but do you have your 2391 and PI insurance?

he gives advice to h&s depts on how to bypass the rules,by the way nick i ran some of your quotes/advice past our h&s dept, the basic answer was 'you even think about doing that and your out the door son,it costs what it costs to do it right, any problems speak to your manager if he asks you to do that and you do it come back to us and your both out the door' i took that as a no..
