Bell 801 Entry Phone System Wiring help

Morning all,

Hope you’re all well.

I have replaced my entry phone system for the same one just a fresher one as have been decorating.

However, the dummy I am, I didn’t take a pic of where the wires go and now I’m lost. I’ve got the sound working when someone pushes the buzzer downstairs, but none of the other features work.

You will probably need to open the door unit (I'm assuming it's a single entry system - if not, Bell have manuals available on-line).

As asked is this a stand-alone system? I think the best way with looking at the instructions that SparkyChick has posted you will now need to see what the connections are at the outdoor unit if it is a stand-alone system.

have you got a pic of the connections at the other end?

I have this handset and there are more wires in the cable running into my apartment than this IROTZ layaout caters for. I have 8 wires, all striped. Any suggestions??
