anything that will fit. what's all that grey crap?

Hmm, I'll perhaps just stick one next to it outside the board.

i see quite a few houses with boards full of insulation.

Funnily enough, I saw one a couple of weeks ago where a shed load of polystyrene beads from the wall filling had gone inside the cu and you could see all the cables were sticky and had reacted with it.

...This must be the "excess migration",UKIP are always bangin' on about...:stooge_curly:

I realise its bad practise but perhaps another make would fit as I cant see any Volex din mounted bell transformers.

A few sites state that wylex will fit Volex but i do not know myself, I'm sure someone here will know.

If it does then the following may be an option:

1. Wylex MTS8/1 8V 1 MODULE Usec 8 VOLTS MTS8 BELL TRANSFORMER 8VA OUTPUT | eBay

2. Wylex MTS12/1 Door Bell Transformer 12V | screwflix..com
