Too what angle are you altering these connectors?? it's not really a good idea to alter designed equipment, no matter how small it is, in my opinion

You can buy angled spades, and the design is no different to the straight ones. (Except for the angle, of course).
Repeated bending of the connectors will, of course, damage them.

Depends what you mean, if it involves changing shape then they might have a poor connection and cause problems
