Discuss Best form of heating for Village Hall in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi, has anyone installed heating in a village hall? Whats the best form of electric heating for a village hall?
80 hormonal teenagers:rolleyes:o_O seriously Panel heaters would be my choice, high level one, out of reach of inquisitive fingers.

Infrared heaters. Ive got a little contract installing infrared heaters for a utility company across 41 school halls. We are supplied the heaters and the manufacture is called yandiya. The don't show the heaters on their website that we are installing but they are 3.2KW and 2000mm long.

I would suggest you look into infrared heating which directly heats people and the building structure, rather than trying to heat the air which is not efficient in poorly insultated buildings with high ceilings. Villagehallheating.co.uk would be a good place to start...
